Wellness programming is the other primary way that survivors use Friends to enhance their lives. Through partnerships with other organizations, Friends offerings include programs in aquatics, therapeutic arts, equine-assisted therapy, crew rowing, dance and fitness.
These programs and other special events foster fellowship that helps survivors feel more connected and secure in the knowledge that they have friends who truly care.
In partnership with Special Equestrians of the Treasure Coast, this equine-assisted therapeutic program provides the healing power of horses to cancer survivors.
