Interested in being fitted with a new or gently used breast prosthesis? With over 150 styles in stock, we are normally able to accommodate most sizes. All items are sanitized before distribution. Fittings require approximately 45 minutes (appointments are required).

With over 500 wigs in stock, we are glad to schedule an appointment to find the perfect one for you! All wigs are sanitized before distribution. During the appointments, individuals receive instructions on wear and maintenance (provided with accessories such as wig bands, hair pins, and stocking caps). You may also be referred to partnered salons for haircuts and wig styling. Wig fittings require about 60 minutes (fittings are by appointment only).

Complimentary concierge services by Friends After Diagnosis are available for those who qualify. Services offered include: shopping, dog walking, house cleaning, laundry, and companion visits. Concierge services are available by appointment only and require advance registration.

Chemo kits provide everything you need while sitting in the doctor’s office for hours during treatment! We provide a variety of items in our kits to include lip balms, puzzle books, hard candy, and journals.These items help during the treatment process and provides activities to provide relaxation while in treatment.

Friends After Diagnosis (Friends), an organization devoted to serving women with cancer, others with breast cancer and their loved ones, announces the implementation of FriendsAid, a financial support program for individuals diagnosed with and in active treatment for breast cancer. Funded by generous donors, this program may provide for financial assistance with travel for treatment outside our local area, groceries, household cleaning, and utilities.
Through a partnership with Tree of Life Health for Healing and Wellness, LLC, we provide referrals for those in need of professional mental health services. Dr. Vonda Jones-Hudson, PhD. is a committed to the care of those who are looking for holistic cancer care.
Friends After Diagnosis is a 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of women diagnosed with cancer. It is our hope and vision to see that all women diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones have lives filled with wisdom, wellness, fellowship, and peace.
